DJ SANDY SACHS
Sandy
co-founded Girl Bar in 1990 with her partner of 16 years Robin
Gans. Girl Bar is nation’s largest and most well known nightclub
for lesbians in the world. In addition she is co-founder and
co-producer of The Dinah Shore Weekend, the largest vacation
weekend for women in the world. Sandy also happens to be the
owner of the state- of-the-art Factory Nightclub and recently
purchased Fitness Factory, a private gym in West Hollywood where
many of Hollywood’s celebs workout. As if that isn’t enough,
Sandy opened, and continues to be the buyer for, one of Bourbon
Street’s most popular gay and lesbian boutiques, Hit Parade.
Sachs, a native New Yorker, began DJing in the early 80’s. Her
career was short-lived when she realized that she would rather
be on the floor dancing and socializing. Her interest in music
is what drove her into the nightclub business where she started
as a promoter and has continued to work closely with all of the
DJs that work for her. Sandy is suddenly enjoying newfound
interest and success as a lounge music DJ, spinning primarily at
Girl Bar in the front lounge and at special events. Her music
repertoire consists mainly of European Lounge music, Retro 70’s
& 80’s, Funk, Old Skool and Deep House.
"Life may not be the party we hoped for... but while we are here
we might as well dance"

DJ KIMBERLY S.
Circuit DJ phenomenon and martial arts expert Kimberly S is not afraid to tell it as it is. She explains her meteoric rise to the top of the DJ pack with a simple, “I'm strong, I'm hot and I can spin my ass off.”
Her legions of fans – including a bevy of some of Hollywood 's best known celebrities – agree. Each week, thousands of Kimberly S. enthusiasts converge to hear the black belt karate expert play at venues across America . She specializes in soulful house, pulsing tribal beats, trance and vocal club anthems. She is also noted for her exceptional mixing skills and superior set programming and credits her martial arts experience with giving her the discipline to succeed as a DJ.
“I am a lover of house music in its purest form,” she explains. “House and Dance integrates all different genres into its flow, and as a result, it enables people to feel an array of different emotions: joy, love, nostalgia, inhibition, passion… I want my sets to serve it all to my fans on the dance floor.”
Kimberly began her career in music as a manager and buyer for several Los Angeles retail music chains. The job gave her unlimited access to the newest singles. She struck a deal with a local DJ offering him a discount on 12” singles if he taught her how to mix. He agreed, gave her two lessons and loaned her two old Technics turntables. She bought a cheap mixer, hooked it and the turntables to her boom box, and practiced. Two months later, the DJ offered her a weekday night gig. Kimberly remained at the club for eight years.

DJ DANIEL BORRERO
Spinning music since 1997, Daniel has worked hard to merge his two favorite cities,
Chicago and New York , musically into one. Having worked in different types of arenas
early in his career has given him an eye for watching a floor, increasing and maintaining
a flow of energy. Most importantly those skills help him give his audiences what they
came for, a truly different experience.
Daniel has spun at some of the hottest clubs around Chicago including, Sound Bar, Circuit, Transit, Nocturnal, and Metro to name a few.
Even though at heart Daniel is always looking to progress his sound to the next
level, his love for music can never be classified as just one type of sound. The genres
of music he spins vary in style and complexity from tribal to big room, from electro house
to hip hop and everything in between. Daniel believes in no limits in music so he refuses
to limit himself. 'To me, if I limited my music then I would be denying the true beauty of music,
its diversity.'
